Vice-principals, who assume the responsibility of school leaders in the absence of the principals, play important roles in planning, coordinating, and monitoring school development work in various areas for the benefit of students. Under school-based management, it is crucial to have in place a team of vice-principals who can demonstrate leadership of considerable scope and depth. Especially during the changing time when new challenges creep in, questions of how to bring new vitality and enable sustainable development are inevitable for our serving school leaders.
To respond to the need and to answer the burning questions, we provide this timely leadership training program for our professionals to take in new theoretical knowledge as well as practical experience. By delivering cutting-edge leadership topics, this program intends to inspire participants to reflect critically on their everyday work and to develop their personal philosophy of school leadership. Through interacting activities, it intends to create a professional learning community for practitioners to establish rapport with each other, and exchange their thoughts and emotions. Field visits in business organizations or NGOs will also enable our participants to gain insights beyond the school context, and learn more about the organizational management culture, staff development strategies, marketing, and administration, etc.
